Warranty Policy
Last updated: March 2026
1. Limited Warranty Overview
VibeComputers ("we," "us," "our") provides a limited warranty on all custom-built PCs assembled and sold by us. This warranty covers defects in workmanship attributable to our assembly process and certain hardware failures as described below. This warranty is subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions set forth in this Warranty Policy.
This Warranty Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between this Warranty Policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall control except with respect to warranty-specific provisions.

The warranty period begins on the date the completed build is delivered to the shipping carrier for shipment to you. Individual components may also be covered by their respective manufacturer's warranty, which is separate from and in addition to this limited warranty.
2. Federal Warranty Disclosures (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act)
This warranty is a "limited warranty" as defined by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 2301–2312). In accordance with federal law:
- This warranty is provided at no additional charge and does not require registration or activation.
- You are not required to use VibeComputers-authorized parts, service providers, or accessories for maintenance or non-warranty repairs. Use of third-party parts for non-warranty service will not void this warranty unless such parts cause damage to the system.
- The warrantor is VibeComputers. Warranty service is provided exclusively by VibeComputers as described in this policy.
- This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
3. What Is Covered
This limited warranty covers defects in workmanship and hardware failures that occur during normal use within the applicable warranty period. Specifically:
- Assembly defects: Failures caused by improper assembly, wiring, seating of components, or cable management performed by VibeComputers during the build process.
- Component compatibility issues: Hardware incompatibilities between components selected and installed by VibeComputers that cause system instability or failure.
- Hardware failure during warranty: If a component fails during normal use within your warranty period, we will diagnose the issue and repair it at no cost for parts and labor. You are responsible for round-trip shipping costs. If a failed component is discontinued or unavailable, we will replace it with a comparable component of equal or greater specifications at our sole discretion.
The sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty is repair or replacement of the defective component(s), at our sole option. We reserve the right to use new, refurbished, or remanufactured components for warranty repairs, provided they meet or exceed the specifications of the original component.
4. What Is NOT Covered (Exclusions)
Customer-caused damage: Physical damage resulting from drops, impacts, spills, liquid exposure, power surges, electrical events from inadequate power infrastructure, or any form of misuse, abuse, or negligence.
Software issues: Operating system problems, driver conflicts, software crashes, malware, viruses, or configuration changes made by the customer after delivery.
Cosmetic issues: Aesthetic preferences such as cable management appearance, minor scratches, scuffs, or visual details that do not affect PC functionality.
Unauthorized modifications: Opening the case and modifying, removing, adding, or replacing components voids the warranty for affected parts and any damage resulting from such modifications. Contact us first if you need changes made.
Normal wear and tear: Gradual degradation of components over time (e.g., fan bearing noise after extended use, thermal paste drying, dust accumulation).
Overclocking: Damage caused by overclocking CPU, GPU, or RAM beyond the manufacturer's factory-specified clock speeds, voltages, or power limits, unless the overclocking was performed by VibeComputers as part of the original build.
Environmental damage: Damage caused by use in environments outside normal operating conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat or cold, excessive humidity, dust, or inadequate ventilation.
Undisclosed high-intensity use: Accelerated wear or failure caused by continuous cryptocurrency mining, distributed computing, or other sustained high-load operations not disclosed at the time of order.
Acts of God and external events: Damage caused by natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, fires, lightning), theft, loss after delivery, acts of war, civil unrest, or any other events beyond our reasonable control.
Third-party peripherals: Damage caused by incompatible or defective peripherals, external devices, or accessories connected by the customer that were not included in the original build.
5. Dead on Arrival (DOA)
A system is considered "Dead on Arrival" (DOA) if it meets any of the following criteria upon initial receipt:
- The system does not power on at all
- The system powers on but does not POST (Power-On Self-Test)
- A major component is non-functional on first use (e.g., GPU not detected, no display output, storage drive not recognized)
You must report a DOA issue within 48 hours of delivery confirmation by contacting us via the support chat on your order page. Your report must include a description of the issue and supporting photos or videos demonstrating the problem.
For confirmed DOA issues, we will cover the cost of return shipping. We will repair or replace the defective component at no cost to you and ship the repaired system back at our expense.
DOA claims submitted after the 48-hour window will be processed as standard warranty claims, and the customer will be responsible for round-trip shipping costs.
6. Shipping & Transit Damage
All orders include shipping insurance to protect against damage or loss during transit. If your PC arrives damaged during shipping:
- Report within 5 business days: You must contact us within 5 business days of delivery confirmation via the support chat on your order page.
- Provide documentation: Include clear photos of all external packaging damage, internal packaging damage, and any damage to the PC or components.
- Retain all packaging: You must retain all original packaging materials (box, foam, inserts) until the claim is fully resolved. Failure to retain packaging may result in claim denial by the shipping carrier.
We will file an insurance claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf and work with you to repair or replace the affected components. You acknowledge and agree that: (a) the shipping carrier, not VibeComputers, is the insurer and makes the final determination on insurance claims; (b) claims reported after 5 business days may not be eligible for insurance coverage; (c) VibeComputers is not liable for transit damage beyond the scope of the shipping insurance coverage; and (d) we will use commercially reasonable efforts to assist with the claims process but cannot guarantee the outcome.
7. Unavailable Parts
If a component requiring warranty replacement is discontinued, out of stock, or otherwise commercially unavailable at the time of the warranty claim:
- We will replace it with a component of equal or greater specifications at our sole discretion.
- The customer does not have the right to select the specific brand, model, or SKU of the replacement component.
- If no functionally comparable replacement exists, we may, at our sole option, offer a store credit or partial refund based on the depreciated value of the original component.
- Any replacement component provided under warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, not a new warranty period.
8. State Warranty Law Notices
The following notices are provided in compliance with applicable state warranty and consumer protection laws:
California (Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act)
Under California Civil Code §§ 1790–1795.8, if VibeComputers provides an express warranty and is unable to repair the product to conform to the express warranty after a reasonable number of repair attempts, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund. The duration of any implied warranties under California law shall be concurrent with the duration of the express warranty set forth in this policy, but in no event less than 60 days from the date of delivery. Some limitations or exclusions contained in this warranty may not apply to California residents.
Other State Protections
Some states, including but not limited to New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia, do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. If you reside in one of these states, certain limitations and exclusions stated in this warranty may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights. In such states, our warranty obligations are limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state. To the extent any provision of this warranty is inconsistent with applicable state law, such provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to comply with such law.
9. Limitation on Warranty Remedies
THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE COMPONENT(S) AS DESCRIBED HEREIN. IN NO EVENT SHALL VIBECOMPUTERS' TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE, LOST DATA, LOST PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, WHETHER ARISING FROM WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. In such states, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
All warranty claims must be initiated during the applicable warranty period. Claims initiated after the warranty period has expired will not be honored, except where applicable state law provides a longer period that cannot be waived by agreement.
10. Warranty Claim Process
Contact Us
Log into your account, navigate to the affected order, and start a support chat with a description of the issue and photos/videos if applicable. For DOA claims, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Diagnosis
We'll work with you to diagnose the issue remotely. In some cases, we may be able to resolve software-related problems without shipping. You agree to cooperate with our reasonable diagnostic procedures.
Ship Your PC
If a physical repair is needed, ship the PC to us. You are responsible for the cost of shipping to and from our location (except for confirmed DOA claims). We strongly recommend insuring your shipment. VibeComputers is not liable for damage occurring during customer-arranged shipping.
Repair & Return
We'll repair the issue and ship your PC back to you. Parts and labor for repairs covered under warranty are free of charge. Estimated repair turnaround times are provided as estimates only and are not guaranteed.
11. No Returns for Functional PCs
Because each PC is custom-built to order based on your specific configuration, we do not accept returns on functional PCs that are performing as specified. Custom-built-to-order products are exempt from standard return policies under applicable law. If your PC is working as specified but you are unsatisfied with a cosmetic aspect, this is not grounds for a return, exchange, or refund. We encourage you to be thorough with your build configuration before placing your order.
This policy does not limit your rights under applicable state consumer protection laws to the extent those laws provide rights that cannot be waived by agreement.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or relating to this Warranty Policy, including disputes regarding warranty coverage, claim eligibility, or the quality of warranty service, are subject to the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration provisions set forth in Section 11 of our Terms of Service, which are incorporated herein by reference.
13. Severability
If any provision of this Warranty Policy is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
